How do I make sure I am registered?

You will be registered when one of the following applies:

  • Full payment is received at the time of registration
  • The first payment has been made and a promissory note has been signed by the student and returned to the program advisor.
  • A private student loan has been fully approved.
  • Third-party payments (tuition reimbursement, Vocational Rehabilitation Offices, Florida Prepaid) have been fully approved.

How do I pay with a payment plan?

Upon selecting promissory note payment,  you will be prompted to make the first payment by credit card. You will also be provided with a link to the promissory note document that needs to be signed and emailed to the assigned program advisor. 

Upon processing the promissory note, our office will update your account with the promissory note payment and your remaining balance will be reflected in your Canelink account. 

You will need to make future payments on your promissory note by accessing your Canelink account at canelink.miami.edu.

How do I make my monthly payments in Canelink? 

Here are the instructions on how to make online payments in Canelink:

  1. Log in to CaneLink (canelink.miami.edu) and go to Student Center
  2. Click on the Payments/Account Summary button under the Finances section.
  3. You will be directed to the Flywire Account Summary page
  4. Click on the Make Payment tab  
  5. You will be asked how you would like to pay 
  6. Under Payment Options– Balance Due- you will see the full balance. Delete that amount and enter the amount you wish to pay. You can pay higher amounts if you’d like to.
  7. You will be asked to agree with the terms of use and privacy policy. Click on the Continue
  8. Complete the requested information, complete your payment, and print your receipt.  

When will I receive my certificate of completion?

You will receive your certificate of completion upon successful completion of academic and financial requirements (student balance is paid in full).
